The Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Center in 6th of October City is one of the largest cardiac healthcare facilities in the Middle East and Africa. Construction of the facility has been completed in 2025. The project will serve as a leading hub for treatment, training, and research, while featuring one of the highest proportions of ICU-dedicated beds in the region.

Designed by Norman Foster, the project features an iconic architectural design, including its distinctive shell roofs, which required advanced engineering, digital modeling, and specialized construction techniques. Orascom Construction successfully delivered these complex structures, demonstrating exceptional engineering precision and expertise.

The center represents a significant addition to Egypt’s healthcare infrastructure and will further strengthen the country’s position as a regional leader in specialized cardiac care.
