Orascom Construction and Sawiris Foundation for Social Development Complete the Repair of Ventilators in 42 Hospitals Across Egypt

As part of initiatives to support the efforts of the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Health & Population, Orascom Construction and the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development complete the repair of ventilators in 42 public hospitals across Egypt.

Orascom Construction and the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development—in coordination with the technicians and local representatives of the medical equipment manufacturers—funded and managed the logistics of these repairs.

The public hospitals are located in 18 cities and governorates including, but not limited to, Alexandria, Assiut, Al Beheira, Al Gharbia, Greater Cairo, Al Menofia, Sohag and Al Wahat.

Orascom Construction and the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development reiterate their commitment to provide resources and support to the Egyptian government’s efforts towards addressing COVID-19.
