Orascom Construction Announces Closing of Equipment Distribution and Services Acquisition in Egypt

Orascom Construction PLC (NASDAQ Dubai: OC; EGX: ORAS) announces that the acquisition of a leading equipment importation, distribution and services business in Egypt has now closed. 

Following this final step, ownership has been transferred to Orascom Construction PLC.

Shareholders of Orascom Construction PLC approved this acquisition at an Extraordinary General Meeting held on 27 December 2021.
